Here is a thread that I started. It seems that getting wheels chrome plated is pretty expensive and most times its cheaper to buy them in chrome already.

I am going to Bills tomorrow afternoon to drop off some stuff. I will post up the results once I get stuff back.

Might be worth a call to Prism Powdercoating in Hopewell / Crescent ( about 5 minutes from Moon Twp ). Glen is the owner - super nice guy - and he does awesome work. He doesn't do chrome, but he has this finish called Cermakrome that is darn close to chrome but WAY more durable. He put the cermakrome finish on a set of finned '85 GT aluminum valve covers for me and they look fantastic. ( That reminds me - I need to post photos of them... ) It is like a VERY nice polished finish, except you don't have to polish it all the time to keep it looking shiney!!

I have a product called mirror silver made by dupont, its a powder coat we use alot of most of the time I can do all 4 for $225-250 dependending on the prep work to get rid of scratches and old clear coat, when its done its very close to the finish of chrome, the only draw back with doing wheels is most centers now are made of plastic- like pony wheels

I can vouch for Glen as well. He did some parts for me a while ago and did a really nice job!

Regarding the valve covers that I took to get a price at Bills Chrome..

He blew me away that he wanted $900!!! for two valve covers. I think he is way too high. I got another price from a guy that another member got to do his covers(the same 4.6DOHC type) and he wants $400! Needless to say that Bill won't be doing them.
