just wondering if anyone on this site has a 4.6 or 5.4 in their fox body... I remember SVTGT's thread about his terminator fox and was wondering if anyone else has it done. if so post some pics!

My bro's got a nice one:
Its a runner too....10.70s all day off idle.
I can answer most questions. I helped him with getting parts and info., but he did it all himself.

that's the first 4 eyed modular I've seen. Looks beautiful!!!
holy $hit...that is SO clean
i'd love to hear about all that is needed done to perform a swap like this (aside from getting all the parts). do you have to make any modifications to the firewall, do you need an sn-95 kmember, etc.?

there are a few companys making K-members for mod foxes now, i got mine from maximum motorsports, and didnt have to touch the firewall, if you have any real specific questions feel free to pm me.

No mods needed to firewall. He used:
PA K-member for a Fox w/ 4.6 mounts
stock 4.6 mounts
MAC 1 5/8" Cobra headers (only slight clearancing needed on drivers side)
all stock Cobra front accesories with an AC delete idler pulley from FRPP
aftermarket Fox radiator but still needed to keep the 4.6 coolant reservoir (or at least he had to or there were issues and thats a GT500 one he used ;))
Detail Zone custom harness w/ SCT tuned (Lidio at Alternative Auto) factory Mach 1 ECU (can use any 4V stock ECU and the harness is reasonable $$$ but does require basic electrical skills as you get a 'motherboard' and run wires from all sensors to labled pins---not too bad and makes it clean, but assembly required. He also had them use early style injector harness when building it to be able to run bigger injectors, I'd suggest this).
Most complicated change is that you have to go with the '94+ Hydroboost brakes/MC or manual brakes. He got all the parts from a '99 GT and looped the system as he runs a manual rack. Car stops much better with the Hydroboost and STOCK '86 brakes.
Hmmm, thats all I can think of, let me know what else you want to know.
Its not as bad as it seems and the car starts and drives like a stock Cobra (in a 500# lighter chassis w/ C4 and 3.73s)---even got 16+mpg on a 140 round trip to the Woodward Dreamcruise.
