    Kickdown Questions????

So I get the kickdown hooked up on the AOD I put in my 86 lx v6 and it shifts ok but when you are driving and try to get into it and get the trans to kickdown nothing happens. I looked under the hood today and there is the adjustment screw on the throttle brackets on the throttle body and when I push it all the way to WOT it doesn't contact with the kickdown bracket. I even adjusted the screw as far as I could and it still doesn't touch. Anyone got any pics of the set up on their car so I can see if maybe there is something missing?

Well, the lokar cable won't work with any of the throttle bodies on the ford 3.8 v6. The stock kickdown that I have seen operates on moving the same way as the throttle linkage which is towards the fire wall and lokar cable requires being pulled toward the radiator. Unless I can come up with a way that the cable can be routed to come in from the front it won't work. I have a stock set up from a 87 tbird that is on there right now and it is working Just need to see if I can get it adjusted because it shifts harder than it should.
