What is the widest tire you can fit on the rear of an 89 fox body hatch? Don't know if it matters but it is a five lug.

I have put 275/50/15 on em.. or 26/10.5/15

i have a 40 series (275/40/17) on one of my stangs now. that is about the widest you can go

i have 265/50 on mine lots of room, could easily fit a 295 50 15 but i also have t/c rear

ive seen 295/50-15, 28x12.50-15, 27x11.50-15 hoosier, 285/35-18, 295/40-17 it all depends on the wheel u got on it and how much clearencing u do
