    "Hemi Motor"

A friend of mine just picked up a 1968 426 dodge hemi motor that is complete and was wondering what it is worth. It is all there and rotates with braker bar. I was thinking at least $3000.oo, anyone else have a guess?

I really wouldn't know for sure. But I would think that rare of an engine would fetch more than that?

The bare block is worth at least $3k... I wouldn't take less than $5500 for a complete motor! Throw it in Hemmings and the phone calls will come rolling in.......anyone who can afford a high dollar "hemi car", is more than likely willing to pay a large sum for a complete engine. I've seen them go for over $7k...alot more than that for a fresh motor.

    Check this out.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1966-...em300194482329

11 bids (over $5200) and there's still 5 days left on the auction!

    Very high dollar motors!!!
