    Any other engineers or machinists?

    I'm starting a new engineering job in a few weeks, The only difference is I'll be using smartcam instead of mastercam, anybody else familiar with the differences, they said it shouldn't be a problem I was just curious

    i have only used mastercam, but if its like other softwares it shouldn't be to bad to pick up on , i learned on pro-e , went to school used solidworks ,now use inventor , and pro-e again.and sometimes even autocad 2d .

    smartcam is an autoworks program which is autocad which means it should be easier to import acad files, always found it a b**ch to import files into mcam
