any good bars near super 8 by the airport

ill be at the super 8 on univ.blvd on 02/07/08with the wife. are there any bars decent bars close to the motel? i dont want biker bars,or somewhere a beer will cost $15.00. just a good bar or lounge close to the motel.thanks for all input.

You can hit Primanti's. Home of the famous Primanti's sandwich. If you haven't heard of it - they put the cole slaw and fries inside the sandwich. They're pretty famous - have been on the food network on the top places to eat. All kinds of sandwiches, good pizza and other stuff too.

Anyway - Primanti Brothers Restaurant ( & Bar ) is like .2 miles ( 2 tenths ) from the Super 8. I'm sure the front desk can point you in the right direction. I think it's on the same side of the street. It sits between a Wendy's and a Pizza Hut.

When did they open Primantis in Moon? There is also Wings, Suds & Spuds. And if you're bored, there's an adult video/gift store across the street!

The Primanti's in Moon opened a few months ago. It's pretty nice - much nicer & cleaner than the one on Smallman downtown. It's in the building where Denny's used to be.

Just don't get too boozed up at the one in Moon if you're driving. They set up DUI checkpoints on 60 by the old airport from time to time.

I wish I could eat ( and drink ) there....dieting sucks!!!!!! Maybe sometime in May...
