Hey guys Mike was my cousin. He is 22 years old and would have been 23 in March. I just saw this now, our family has been very sad and were trying to stick together. I'm still devistated, I did everything with him from motorcycles, snowboarding, cars, quads, I feel like he wasn't just my cousin but more of a best friend and brother. They had an 04 cobra and a 07 gt500, but his favorite of all I think was his 07 gsxr 1000, which he had passion for each as we all love our own cars. Living with him the last 5 months has brought him and I closer than we ever had been. I'll miss and love him very much, and for those who knew him he was a great guy and I know he'll always be in my heart and at my side. Thanks for all the kind words everyone. It means a lot!

Also his obituary will be in the paper tomorrow, Friday February 8th. One thing that I've learned is that he passed away peacefully which is a lot more comforting for my family and I. I will say that I know he never had a regret, everything he did he took it to the extreme. I looked up to him, hell if it wasn't for him I would never have gotten a terminator. I'll miss him very much.

Sorry to hear this, Ed. Sounds like you're staying strong for your family. The Lord works in mysterious ways sometimes and it's hard to figure Him out, but it's His plan.

Thanks for all the kind words. He loved his cobra as much as the rest of us. I've been trying to be strong, although it's hard sometimes. We lived together like I said, and every night when I come home I just wish I could see him come walking through the door. It's my family and friends like you guys that gives me a reason to keep my head up and keep on living bc thats what I know he'd want me to do. Thanks again, it means more than I can ever show.

Yea i got the news wednesday when i was in school. It just sucks cause the day before i was talking to him about cobras and plans and stuff and me and him always joke around about each others cars and that he was the ultimate driver. He could always make anyone smile and would go out of his way to make sure he said hi. He was a great guy and a great friend. I could not even go into work that day cause it just brings back memories. It just really sucks that it had to happen to him...

I was going to pm you eddie to see how you were doing and see how sam is doing. I have not got to talk to dave or jane or sam.. I will pm you my other question..

My heart goes out to the whole sapone family. It just sucks going into work now a days and knowing that he will not walk in the door and make fun of me. I just do not know what else to say cause i am still in shock and cant find the words how hard it hurts......

My name is Sam I rearly post on here, but i saw this and had to. Im 19 years old Mike was my older brother and best friend. I was closer to him then anyone and he was closer to me than anyone. I honestly dont know how i am going to go on. He was the biggest role modle in my life. He was a great person that would help anyone out. For the first time ever i go in the garage and dread looking at one of the cars. Cars were both huge part of our lives as some of you may know through dealerships. He was just ready to graduate from college and go straight to Ford School for the dealerships. He was ready to get in the world and be a great sucess. He was a great guy as some of you may know. Thanks for all your kid words they help a lot.

If anyone learns anything from this go tell everyone close to you, you love them cause they might not be there tomorrow.
