Thread: My metal band is about done with our studio recording.

My metal band is about done with our studio recording.

One new song up on our myspace. Actually it's not a new song, it's the correct studio recording of one we've had a while.

It's my least favorite song personally. No solo. But it's a good indication of what we sound like recorded in a controlled and (mostly) sober environment. We've got a solid three months into this 5-song disc and the masters are coming out pretty comparable to the stuff being done by the major labels in our genre.

It's the first song on the player, Death From Above (New Rec). Check it out if you wish, I realize this stuff isn't for everyone... Input appreciated--Kthanksbye.

a little too hard core for my tastes, but the music and lyrics seem to be pretty on par with everything else i've heard in this form. good luck.

Thanks for the input. You're the guy that made the video making fun of the doofus with the high-output grand prix motor car right?

    Ralph,

This is excellent stuff. I am a big fan of metal in various forms. I love Cannibal Corpse, Cradle of Filth, Arch Enemy, Lamb of God and Pungent Stench to name a few bands. Death From Above is a good song - I am digging it. I also like 3 Fifths a lot.

Very good stuff. I would come to see you guys play live. I will keep an eye out for your shows.

    Keep up the great work!

Thanks man, we're working on getting down into the southern part of the state. I hate beginning to branch out with a band until the basics are covered, a good CD, some merch, a plan, etc. Haha. Had too many bands start and immediately try to tour out too far and fall flat. Getting too old to keep starting over so I wanna do it right this time!
