    Wink mustang with automatics? transgo shift kits

    wondering if anyone has had any experience with transgo shift kits in their automatics? if they liked them or didnt like them. i was thinking about picking one up for my car but i wanted to hear some input on them. thanks

    i have had it in an AODE and a 4R70W and was happy with it in both.

    Your car shift great the way i have the program set up i would leave it alone.

    im just tossing ideas up. im just waiting for the weather to get nicer to bring the car up for them scoops an inspection.

    I did the transgo with a manual valve body and b&m hammer shifter and I loved it. Its somthing different. Its kinda cool how I now control the gears.

    I bought the kit when I went to wyotech and installed it when I was in the tranny class. I was easy after learning about it. If you dont know much about trannys I dont recomend it. Its very involved to install. If you do I would take it to a shop. I dont have any links I got it through the school. they gave me the number to call and I ordered it at school. If I come across the number I will post it. Basically you have to take your whole valve body off and change springs, accumulators, bypass electrical conectors, install vaccum lines and put it back on. Its def fun and real in depth project.

    cant go wrong with trans-go kit imo put mine in last year & i love it does take some work to install though (comes with great video)

    casper i seen you go to prp regularly. is your tranny built ? and whats done to your motor? im looking to get a stall and possibly that shift kit.
