    Smile any estimates on how much hp im making?

    hey guys im just curious on what kinda numbers i would be putting out on my 01 gt. you guys have been to dynos alot more than me so you guys hopefully know ballpark estimates. im looking to get a dyno tune also if anyone knows of some good places lettme know. i keep hearing sgs is a really good place for mustangs. so please give me your estimates and if you know any dyno places for a good dyno tune. i appreciate it.
    Anyway heres my specs on my car: 01 gt block honed and bored .30 over, mahle forged pistons and rods, ported pi heads with new valves, crower stg 2 cams, crower valve springs i believe, compression is a little over 10:5:1, mac fenderwell intake, accufab 70mm tb an plenium,1 inch intake spacer, bbk u/d pullies, sct2 programmer, 4.10s, hooker longtubes, hooker offroad x pipe, slp loudmouth 1 catback, and royal purple oil lol. thankz

    With those mods you are prob in the 300-310rwhp range. As far as tuning goes, you def can't go wrong with SGS Automotive. Big Shot Dyno seems to be another popular place with a good rep.

    agreed with what u have listed id say between 300 and 315 have u ever run the car at the track if so what et and mph and what does your car weight with u in it it gives a better bases to go off.

    never been to track, weight prolly in 3k range and i have beaten a 04 cobra with exhaust last summer on street. duno what they make stock but i had bout half a car on him he seemed like he could drive pretty good

    03/04's are like 375rwhp i believe....so either he wasnt too good a driver, your a really, really, good driver, or your car makes more power than you think. lol.

    i went to the dyno once with just full bolt ons and shortie headers and catted xpipe instead of longtubes and off road xpipe and my car made 264hp and 288tq this was at speed nation i only went because my friend knew the guy and got us a deal.

    i went to CRT. Jeff is an awesome guy ti deal with and they are very reasonable. they also are very knowledgeable. I made 448hp on a street tune on a mustang dyno.

    no i didnt spray and my car is an automatic and i left it in drive.

    would the numbers you guys are estimating be on dyno or the crank?

    Dyno ones are the only ones that matter LOL. I'm in the minority, but I don't like SGS, or at least when it was Kauffman's. If it's changed hands then I have no opinion on them. There are some vendors on here that do tuning also, might want to give them a shout.

    I don't do mustangs so i dont know crap about SGS, but shoot Wolfpack Speed a PM... he has a guy that does his tuning and he's very pleased with him....

    he uses SGS i think....at least he just did on tylers car

    Stock 03 and 04 cobras were rated at 390 hp

    390 is Ford's FWHP rating for them. They are severly under-rated. The lowest RWHP I've come across was around 370 to the tires. Which translates into roughly 451 FWHP with an *assumed* 18% loss through the drivetrain.

    The IRS makes it difficult to pour the steam to them, even in bone stock form.

    my car is an auto as well. isnt the hp rating lower than a 5 spd

    agreed.... the 390 is sooo underrated.... i believe i've seen some do more than the 390 to the wheels dead stock..

    i never understand how the same car can make diffrent hp with the same mods, is their errors or does the machines get tired at the factorys?
