2006 F-150 fx4 on craigslist

I just happen to be bored and got on craigslist for the first time tonite. Im in the market for an f-150 but thought anything newer than an '04 was out of my price range at the moment. HOwever i stumbled upon this 2006 F-150 Fx4 supercrew. Has everything i want but it has leather and im not a big leather fan but for the price of $12000! i think i can deal with it. THat price to me seems waaaaaaay below value and with only 7,xxx miles, somehting just doesnt seem right. I emailed the guy and asked if the price was right and were there any other details to the truck so i am waiting to hear from him. I was wondering what everyone thought on the price of this truck? seems something just doesnt feel right about it? and the rims are a lil tacky but again for 12000 for a basically brand new truck..i can deal with it. Let me know what you think.

I would assume it's a typo and the guy wants $22k

Be careful...lots of Craigslist/Ebay/Autotrader scams lately where the car/truck seems like a great deal...

x2 on the be careful.....on autotrader this person tried to scam me in buying this bmw...it was an 05 528i for like 7500, and the number wouldnt work then "she" started telling me she was in england and the car was in hawaii....lol....i called autotrader and got her in a good bit of trouble...i was so pissed.lol

I've encountered 3 Ebay listings identical to this as well....can never be too careful

Ya the internet is a easy street highway for crime. My father just got an email last nite through an internet scam sayin that sumone he knew wanted him dead and his family. so of course the cops were called and they said that they had seen that email b4 and it was just a hoax but 3months ago he fired a guy down in Ft. Lauderdale fl and that guy also threatened to take him out so it really hit home on how easily the internet can be used as an instant highway of crime. on another note...ya the seller hasnt gotten back to me on the truck so id assume it was a joke! Damn sellers!!!!!!
