Do I need some dyno time to check A/F after new cam

My custom tune was done on my NA 347 by Dave Guy @ Kaufmanns over a year ago. At the time my tune was done, my 347 had incorrect pushrod geometry, worn valve guides, poor ring seal, a different cam TFS Stage 2(now AFM B41), and shorty headers (now LT's). I just had a rering and rehone done, new cam degreed, new valves cut in heads, proper pushrod geometry, etc. Do you guys think I should get a few dyno runs with A/F to make sure I am not too lean? Seems like a good idea. If so, are there any dynos close to the 'burgh that you would recommend? Should I wait until I get 300 miles on the new engine or get the A/F checked right away? I don't want to hurt this new engine before it even gets broken in. Thanks.

If it were mine, i'd drive it real easy for a few hundred miles, then take it and get a new dynotune.

For closed loop (part throttle) driving...you'll be fine. I would put 500 miles on it before any WOT dyno pulls....but this is always a topic of debate.

Sorry...can't help you with any dyno's close to the burgh since Hybrid is no more..unless they re-opened already.

Thanks for the advice. It makes sense to drive it easy until the first oil change at 300 miles. However, my engine builder told me that once the rings are seated, which occurs in the first 5 miles of driving, that WOT won't hurt it. I did some searching online and found a link to a Mustang Dyno locator(see link below). I found out there is a dyno shop less than 5 miles away from me in Millvale - Euro Styles East LLC. SpeedNation is on Library Rd. Strope Speed Shop in Washington, PA has a DynoJet. I would rather pay a few bucks to know that my A/F isn't way off. Not having to drive real far makes it convenient. http://www.mustangdyne.com/locator.htm

they have a mustang dyno. guess it doesn't really matter if all you want is A/F, but some people have strong dyno preferances.

I was there about a year and a half ago and I think they wanted $110.00 bucks for either 2 or 3 pulls. Either way I bet the gas money doesn't come to the difference between them and hybrid.
