i liked the show, like the best of seven deal however didnt like that they kept track of the time and turned it into a bracket race.

Yeah. it blows this year. they bracket race and they cant even fight for there own negotiations. basically rich does them for them. he is such a douche bag

Have to agree, the lack of negotiations and especially the bracket aspect blows. The point of that show was to make it like the allure of street racing, but you don't get to say "well your car was faster than you said it was, so I won" if you lose a street race.

I watched it last night on DVR and Rich was a heck of a lot more involved in the negotiations, I didn't like that, let the owners negotiate and if it gets to the point then intervene. I mean it is their cars on the line.

I didnt even though they changed it up from their "20 lengths and a VTEC? Are you sure?" format.

I've always look at that show as entertainment, somethig to watch with cars in it. That said, this new season got even lamer. I like bracket racing, can play those games, but.... If you are going to make the show about bracket racing, lets just dial the cars in, launch off the tree, and get the dork out of the middle of the track.

One of my favorite episoded of that show was a few years ago. Guy was there, and his car broke so he got to pick someone that was there for TnT to run in his place. Guy was a Camaro bracket car. He ran the car down the track in a way that the other bozo's thought he was flat out. I dont think they ever saw what that car had, and never did figure out he was sandbagging them a ton. A good bracket racer snookerd them good.

that was a camaro and that astro van with the small block in it had welds on it and it looked cool. that guy in the camaro new all along that the van didnt stand a chance i think he won a helmut out of the deal and i think some cash.

yep! that was the show. As I said, they never knew what happend to them.

There was a little shot in there when they asked the other driver if the camaro was flat out, and he said, yeah its all he got, all the while he was driving over his shoulder.

well to all of you who knock the show,

what isn't cool is when you are tell them you are bringin an 11.0 car and bring a 9.0 car and you go out and spank the other guy and isn't even close.Who in the world wants to watch that

I guarantee if any of you were on the short end of the stick you'd be pissed

By him making you run what you say you would makes it a whole lot better and keeps it closer and a whole lot more interesting to watch.I don't however like how Rich gets way to involved in negotiating.

in street racing and which is what this show is modeled after there is no et it first to the end regardless and when u are street racing for money u arent there to make buddys there their to win and if u are smart u come with a faster car or a better game plan. look at that show from when the show first started it was a kid in a 67-68 red camaro vs a big inch b.b car with 1000 hp white monte carlo the dude was cocky as hell and lost his car (kid gave it back), the camaro had maybe 600 at best and the kid one with a slower car cause it would hook and they played the game better.
