Street Terror or Drag car..What would you do?

I have been trying to decide what to do with my 92 Mustang...To make it legal for 9.99's I need to install the rest of the cage..cut off switch...Lic..etc

I have been kicked by one of the officials at PRP and I am SURE that if i start running 9.9's there would be some pissed off IHRA lic racers ( I don't blame them)

Or I could put the Manual back in and get classic plates ( the car will be 15 years old) and have a mid to low 10 sec car...and cross my fingers I don't weld clutches or tear my car appart by drive train failures due to the manual xmission

I started back in 2000 with a SLOW 15 second car and have consistantly gone faster each year to the tune of about .75 sec each year ( Not Cheap!)

So what would you do....all out Drag (trailer queen)probally low 9's or high 8's...Street/Drag with auto low to mid 9's.... or mid to low 10's Street/Drag with the Manual?

I have all winter to kick this around...I am just going in circles with this delima..

    Thanks

    Mike

Id put the stock motor back in the car an make it into a daily driver, and then sell me the complete longblock for lets say $500!!

Seriously though, its all in what you want out of the car. Do you pride being able to drive it to the track, and drive it on the street or do you only care how fast it goes in the 1/4?? Myself, im about halfway between the 2.

You Definitly get more "PROPS" if you drive the car to the track....lower the air in the tires and bust out some 1/4 mile runs that the some of the trailer guys would love to do.. then drive it back home. But lets face it, at the 10 sec level you WILL break something...its just a matter of when.

BTW 500 bucks wouldn't even cover one head LOL!

Not only did I fail at building a fast mustang but I bought a yellow zo6 cause I couldn't get my little dick up.

Buy a trailer and put that f$cker on a trans brake. And let me know what color the sky is as you trip the 60' mark with the 28x10x15's.
