I have the draglites and they are all shiny and stuff right now but i was looking at some pics and saw those ccw's drag pack on a couple black cars and i loved the look so i was thinking about painting the center of my rims black and leave a chrome lip like my bullits.. what are your imput on this. I think it would look good, but just wanted to see some opinions.
i think that would look pretty awesome, i have never seen draglites a diffrent color than chrome, it would def be diffrent. my vote is go for it. my personal thing is i like to stand out and not be like your average mustang, you will have draglites like most but most dont have draglites in black with polished lip
Do a photoshop and show us. Then post up a poll and we'll vote on it.

hey scott try powdercoating I do tons of them and it holds shine and durability alot longer than paint.

yeah def. go with powder coating. chrome really doesnt hold paint real well and can lead to chips and then flaking.

sorry came out a little lighter once i made a jpg and flattened the layers. but at least it shows the depth of the wheel and isnt flat.
i understand that draglites arent really for looks but honestly i dont like how they look black.

but you need to do what you want. if it will make you happy then go with the powdercoating but i would definatly think it over then think again before a decision is made.
