    Who wants quicker e.t's?

Making the obligatory trip to cecil. Roughly 260 miles and voila your new best. Just make sure your chassis is right cause cecil has the bite. And an air density that will afford your N/A combo at least 10 to the tires. LOL:D

Are you going to the SSOTN event Joe? If not, when are you going? I LOVE racing at Cecil. I see no reason why you won't see 10.8's or better there. GOOD LUCK!!!

I was planning to head down there 11/11 with some of the t-bird guys I know from over that way. I hammered my clutch last night at PRP, so it looks like a no-go for me now.

The SSOTN fall nationals is 11/18 at Cecil. They are good guys and car people. I went to it several years when I lived in Baltimore. They have an annual spring & fall event.

Maybe SCS could get an event together next year.

Here's some details from the site:

"There are only 25 or so remaining nats tix. left
These are being sold on a one on one basis via pm's only.
They are the standard $55 via paypal as always, just via a pm basis due to the limited number available.
Please purchase tickets from members who need to sell theirs first as this will cut down on the number of cars racing.
I'm going to shut it down really soon as we are approching race day and I want to make sure the tickets arrive via mail in time. As promised there will be no more than a total of 185 race tickets sold (including the spring rainout tickets).
If you have been holding out and wish to race you need to purchase your tickets NOW or you will not receive one.

PM me (WimpDog) if you would like to purchase a nats ticket for the Nov. 18th event.

    thanks...

    Paul,

I am thinking about it. Mark hooked me up with the info for the event and such. Tell Mike about it and bring the 91 GT down to cecil. I failed to ask you before but wasn't your's Dad's best e.t. of 11.8 something accomplished at cecil prior to the latest track rental? What did you guys do to get the same e.t. with a substantially less mph? Before and after Rhodes supension set up? 60' dramatically decrease at PRP?

    Bob,

What's the track prep at cecil on saturday test and tunes? Only night I have been to cecil it was Street & Grudge racing night. And they had a starting line with teeth in it on those nights.

Defintely Friday night or sat. morning. The trip is contingent upon the weather, so we are gonna make the decision a few days before we go. I'll keep you posted on what we decide in the next couple of days.

    Joe,

Every time I've been there, its been perfect. Those guys just flat know how to prep a track. Add to that, we had great air, and we were running below sea level :D I've actually been told by guys that run there a lot that it gets greasy for them Fridays with the street tires and imports all over it. I've never done their Friday deal so its not first hand.

    Joe,

do you work nights or are you just a night-owl? I always see you posting in the early AM! Ahgh, leaving at 2:30AM, you are hardcore.

You will likey find some of the guys going to Cecil then over on http://www.superstallions.com/forum/tt.asp?forumid=8
Most of the people there are from the MD/PA/DE/NJ area and frequent Cecil often.

I am a job-less internet fanatic. For the moment anyway. Might as well take advantage of the cool morning according to the weather channel for sat. morning!!

This weekend eh Joe? I might just have to roll out there. My car hasn't been back there since my last PR this past spring. I might do some tinkering on it and ride up there.
