I agree - Ben is a solid QB - very good under pressure ( all last year ). He will prove all the doubters wrong over the next several years. If I were building a team, I'd want him over P Manning and Brady, because he is younger and one of the best on the run / under pressure. He has proven that he can put the team on his shoulders and win the big games ( at Cinci, at Indy, at Denver ) You won't see Manning or Brady breaking tackles and making athletic plays - they go down like a house of cards every time. Granted, they're great pocket passers - but behind our porous O-line they'd be average at best. Other people talk about Romo and Palmer being elite passers - yet they haven't won a playoff game in their entire careers.all of you doubters must not know a thing about football
People forget how young Ben is, and they also forget how bad Manning and Favre were early in their careers. Manning and Favre both led the league in INTs - throwing more than Ben did in 2006. Ben has put up good numbers ( especially when you consider the system in which he plays ) every year with the exception of 2006, which was basically due to the fact that he was not 100% ( accident & appendectomy ).
So c'mon fellas - don't knock Ben - without him we wouldn't have a chance. And let's hope we draft a few O-line studs ASAP to protect him so he's not running for his life this year...
