Cool Got some new dyno numbers today !!!

I looked at the 10-day last week and took a gamble. I made an appointment with SGS for today. It couldn't have worked out better.

The 1st graph below is from Hybrid last year. The car had cai, 75mm t/b, upper plenum, o/r pro-chamber and flows and Modular Depot mail-order tune.

The second graph is from today. Car has everything above plus cams, longtubes, u/d pulleys and SGS custom tune.

EDIT: both were not corrected in the same manner. So, I'll remove the fluffy comparison.
Dave @ SGS actually didn't pick up much power over the Modular Depot tune, but he made it a little more driveable in the lower RPMs. He actually likes a leaner A/F and lower timing. He thinks that's safer than more timing with more fuel.

    Enjoy:

Looks like the graph from H.D. is SAE and the SGS graph is STD.

Is 5% about the diff SAE vs. STD ? That seems more realistic. That'd be about 280hp and 300ft lb. That's still 40 hp and 25ft lbs peak to peak.

Dave at SGS was about the 5th person to look at me in that funny way and say, "Ya know... that cam is very blower-friendly."

Nice numbers Adam......I bet it feels like a completely different car now.

My cobra makes about the same hp numbers as yours...and with the 4.10's, I am pleasantly suprised at how quick it "feels".

Hope you buy a set of rear dedicated drag wheels and tires to take advantage of this new found power.

Those guys are leaving tomorrow to go to Florida. I think Dave told me he races the NMRA / EFI Renegade Series. His car is a '96 GT with a built stroked bored (304ci?) shortblock with 03 cobra 4V heads, his custom cams and 28psi of non-intercooled (per the rules) boost. He claims it put down almost 1,000 (edit: that'd be 950 SAE, Pure Stock) at the wheels. Hoping for 8.40s at 150-155.
