Well, it is a heavy convertible with a full interior. Plus, Ernie is a big dude (not fat, just big...dude's like 6'4 and not skinny). I'm guessing it's at minimum ~3700lbs with driver in it.

i dont think 312 is bad.... car was rated at what? 215hp stock? that's 182whp, and he doenst have a lot of HP mods there.... I dont think picking up about 130rwhp from heads and a cam and bolt-ons is bad at all

im big to it sucks lol, car weights 3065-3075 depending on how much fuel then 340-345 me gets in it depending on how much i ate that week lol so it ends up being 3415-3420 give or take 5lbs either way.

312 RWHP output is right in the neighborhood for the mods listed. 61 cc combustion chambers on the stock short block (depending on the head gasket thickness) will yield a static compression ratio in the 9.2:1 range. This example retains the mechanical waterpump, full exhaust, 94/95 style throttle body set-up, along with a heavy weight driveline (TKO, Eaton differential).
