    so my ride home

So i came back from psu today for spring break and what a trip. first off, my battery was dead when i got to my truck and i had to buy a new one. next, i was about 20 minutes outside state college and my exhaust cracked right after the cat, so the next 3 hours i couldnt hear myself think. i might be able to hear by tomorrow hahahaha.
finally i was about 3 miles away from the hopewell exit and i saw a mustang 180ed into the side barrier going into pittsburgh. it was getting dark so i couldnt make it out extremely well, but it was a 99-04 mineral gray with black bullitts. hope it wasnt anyone on here.

actually lol that was me. my car was at a buddys shop in beaver getting inspected and i tried driving it home but didnt make it. I dont even drive the car in the rain but ended up getting caught in that mess. In pittsburgh it was raining but obviously in beaver it was a mess. The weather was getting bad so i thought i better get it home then on the parkway started hydroplaining(drag radials in rain) and slid out and ended up facing oncoming traffic, skills huh??lol . Everything is ok though. Car is home and safe and sound. I messed one of my wheels up but i ordered another one. It could've been alot worse. When u saw me i was waiting for a flatbed.

    Ewwwwww lol

I was over there one evening, took my mom and kids to the Texas Road House. It was our first time there since it was built and I wasnt sure where it was. We always go over the mountain and into State College on Route 26. So I basically drove all the way up through State College to Toftrees. I got so many looks, it was great LOL.

One other time, I was over there with my stang at the BJC and this red stang in front of me a car or two had to turn around and leave.. so when they passed me, the driver looked over and the passenger put his thumb up out the window

    Love that!!

WOW... glad everything is semi-OK. He said you were into the inside barrier. I would have assumed more damage than the one wheel. good to see it wasn't any worse than it was.

and, dr's or all-seasons, these things are horrible for hydro-planing. I go 45mph tops if I get caught in the rain.

No no i wasnt against the barrier. When i was done spinning i was facing oncoming traffic on the shoulder. My back wheel hit the bottom of the barrier and thats how the wheels got messed up.(the lip cracked) After the spinning a cop came and made me pull close to the barrier and thats probaly when he saw me. I was going 35.:o

man, actually you were the first person i thought it was just from seein all the pics of your ride but i was thinkin that you wouldnt have your car out in the weather. glad to hear that nothin got messed up but a wheel. it looked like you spun around into the barrier, good thing you didnt though. about another mile up the road a sunfire was buried in the ditch on the side of the road.

i couldnt believe the ride home, rain the entire way until the beaver county line. then all snow

da9k1ne: i unfortunately live on campus this year, but i guess its close enough to downtown.
