About to install long tubes any suggestions

I Just got a set of BBK long tube headers and an off road X pipe. I have the Lakewood blow proof bell housing any Ideas that might make things easier. Thank you

Take your time and walk away from the project when things aren't going well. I just installed a set of Hooker LT's but I did it while I was installing the new engine.

Lots of fun!!!! I did mine as well. 1 3/4 tubes. Motor was out. I took them back out and put them back in with the motor in. You need to un-do the motor mounts and lift it up. I also think the steering shaft has to come off. I cant remember.

Yeah - I had to jack my engine as well. It helps to jack the engine using a block of wood under the oil pan. Offset the wood/jack to the side of the oil pan so the motor will tilt to the side you are installing. I found it harder to jack the engine straight up - not as much room. Disconnect the bolts holding the tranny mount to the crossmember for additional lift height of the engine.
