Talking Hi from NC (Fastlane Motorsports)

    Hello.
I'm new to the site, but I'm based in NC.
I work for Fastlane Motorsports in Benson, NC.
    http://www.fastlanemotorsports.us

I was told that a newbie member tried to pawn off his car and mods for one of our shop cars that belonged to Seth Hayes.

It's a shame when someone would try to take credit for someone's elses hardwork, blood, sweat, and tears!

Either way, I saw that member was banned and his thread was updated.

    I have a 98saleen (twin turbo - 814 rwhp) and a 06 GT (saleen supercharged - 480 rwhp).
I don't get up to Pennsylvania much anymore with my new job position, but have visited over the years when working for the DOT.

    :D

    Here's a few quick pics -

Thanks guys! I've owned the car for 5 years!
I've been through a few combinations with it!
    2003 - purchased
2004 - vortech supercharger, Fox Lake Stage 2 PI heads, Crane cams, headers - Made 540 rwhp on stock 98 shortblock!
2005 - Added nitrous intercooler sprayer and made 615 rwhp.
2006 - Cracked a factory piston when outside temps got to 20* and I was driving it pretty hard. I think I got a bad tank of gas.
2007 - New stroker engine installed (281 bored .020" over, Kellogg stroker crank, Manley rods, CP pistons), Fox Lake Stage 3 PI heads, same Crane Cams, Vortech t-trim supercharger. Boost only made 601 rwhp. With nitrous (dry manifold shot) made 727 rwhp.
2007-2008 - Installed twin 57mm turbos. Made 720 rwhp on pump gas (93) and 814 rwhp on 100 octane.

RODEHEAVER - I used to own a 89 LX coupe that I installed a 523" big block into! It was awesome! Big blocks for the win! :D

Welcome! I've seen your car on the net before and always drooled on my keyboard over it. It looks sick, and its got the balls to back it up! My 'vert is getting closer and closer to getting its turbo kit installed... I've only had the kit sitting here since 2005. :(

    Yep that's us!
The other one is a 95 Stang with a 347" engine and had a 88mm turbo.
It's going through some changes for this year and is getting a 25.5 cage, mini-tubbed, and a 98mm turbo!
I'll have some progress pics up soon once we get a little more done on it.
We shooting for high 7's in the 1/4 with it on drag radials.

    Thanks.
But why oh why would you have a turbo kit and it still be on the floor after 3 years!!!!
    Get it on!!!!

I absolutely LOVE my turbos! I've had all other kinds of power adders over the years, but my favorite so far is definitely the twins!

I always wondered, what do you use for a radiator in a car with a turbo setup like the '95 has? Is it a mini rad or something?

All my funds went into building my dart block based shortblock and some other cosmetic changes I made, as well as my AEM stand alone. All I need now is the complete fuel system, roll bar, and to modify my K member as the driver side header hits the motor mount provision on the K member. I have a PTK Gen 2 kit with a swain coated hot side and it has a T64e turbo which I'm going to cut my teeth on before stepping up to a bigger T4 flanged turbo down the road. I want to get this NA combo as close to 400rwhp before I put the turbo kit on and I hope to be in the 375-385rwhp range this spring with it. I'm doing a head swap and changing over from a 65mm 94-95 TB setup to a 75mm Accufab race fox TB setup. I'm also planning on buying a set of 60lb injectors here in the next week or so for it as I think they will be sufficient and I won't have to buy and wire in an injector driver.

Here's a pic of my kit all mocked up...

    Welcome!

As i said in the thread of the poser, Twins FTW! :)
I have twin 58mm T4 turbos on my LS1 T/A... gonna keep it to a modest 13psi on a conservative tune though! 700rwhp is more than enough for a pump gas street car... For me atleast!

    sweet rides!
