looking for a driveshaft

I'm looking for a driveshaft and don't know which way to go.
I need help.
. What are the pro's and cons to the three driveshafts.
Aluminum, carbon fiber, or chromoly.
When my car is all said and done I hope to be in the 800 900 hp range.
This will be a street/strip car.
I would be greatfull for any and all input.

imo, it's about the weight. the less they weigh the easier they balance and reduce parasitic loss. personally, i still run my stock drive shaft but will go with aluminum when i find a good deal on one. also i cannot justify the cost of carbon fiber unless you're into serious racing, but that's just my opinion.

I've heard the CF shafts wont tolerate much in the way of damage. Nick it they blow appart.

I just sprung for an aluminum one for my Capri.

The shaft in my 06 is over 30 lbs and it is in 2 parts like a truck!
The carbon fiber one was not that much more money than the aluminum one but I dont want a glass slipper under the car.
Aluminum ones that i have seen range from $650 to 750.
