If it was'nt against the law then it would'nt matter to me what he did, but he obviously broke the law, so if losing his job is the price he has to pay then I don't feel one bit sorry for him. Now his wife should take the rest of his money then he would know how it feels to be broke. Since he's a gov I would be willing to bet the 80k was on the tax payers dime, after all the tax payers pay his salary. I would also say he probably did it during business hours or trips. If he was staying out late or not coming home at night (off the clock) his wife would have found out sooner and it would have never hit the media.
