Well It's official, I now have a 1988 GT, 306, 5spd, 3.73 gears, holley 750 dp(I think) gotta get the numbers off the carb to be sure, BBK shorties and off road h pipe, flowmaster 40 mufflers and flowmaster gt tails. It's got lx tail lights and a short throw shifter. Also has the same wheels that were on my 88 vert. ROH Z's I believe 17's. It's also got a edelbrock super victor intake I believe, new radiator and electric fan. Already converted to the one wire alternator.
Now the bad, it needs a makeover on the interior. It currently has no rear seats and it has the "PIMP LEAN" drivers seat. the heating system has been removed as far as duct work but I have another dash that has all the duct work. It needs painted all the clear coat has peeled off.
It has a cowl hood but it uses the quarter turn fasteners ( zeus fasteners ?) and it isn't finished on the underside. I will be looking to get rid of it and finding a bolt on cowl hood.
I'll have pics posted tomorrow, I have to go to where the car is sitting and adjust the rockers and drive it home.
