That is what I thought, I am not a fan of holley carbs, especially the older ones with the power valve issues. I will prolly be looking to sell the holley and get an edelbrock.

I hate my Hollys unless they are 2 Barrells (3x2). Love the Edelbrock 4 barrells!

What would you want for your edelbrock 600, and is it electric choke.

Well I drove it for the first time on the highway and wow what a difference it makes when you have a car that is built right and no shody machine shop work. This thing pulls great all the way through the RPM range and I didn't even get over 5500 rpm in it.


All that is left is to get the carb jetted to better match the setup. It smells like it is running rich and every once in a while it puffs a lil smoke when its been idling for a while like its loading up.
