No real work done yet but the main puzzle piece is here.

As quite a few of you know my old man has an 80 coupe and we are doing a 4.6 based 4V carb swap in it. Today the main piece of the puzzle showed up, an Anthony Jones Engineering tubular K-Member and a arms. This is their latest invension, it can be bolted in any 1979 - 2004 Mustang and will accept any engine combo from your basic 302 to a big block chevrolet or LSX motor. You buy the k-member and it comes with one set of motor mounts, later down the road if you change engine combos all you have to do is buy the new mounts for under $100.00. Pretty trick setup!!!

With all this "redfire" talk I'm wondering when the old man is going to get some garage space!! :p

Hot Rod did a junkyard jewel deal on a 4.6 2v deal with a carb, sullivan, and MSD setup.
