    My daughters first new car!

My oldest daughter Ashley just got here first new car today. She's still in high school and graduates in June.. I didn't even co sign. She has already established some credit on her own and has held down a job since she was 15.

I have never handed her anything and made her work for what she has, and now her hard work has paid off.

She starts Fairmont state next fall and has a free tuition etc. because of her grades, and because she pursued programs she was eligible for, I'm very proud to be a father of a daughter that so ambitious with great morals, and character.

Here it is, it's a 2008 Focus four door with a auto tranny, and 33mpg. Extra gold warranty, Lots of other options I'm sure.

Thanks guys she really does me proud, but then again don't all my children.

I also have a son who is freshman at WVU. He also has a free ride at school because of his grades Etc. But he's driving an old Buick that use to be my dd. But he pays for all expenses and maintenance.

My youngest is 14, and so far she seems to be following the same path.

You should be proud. It's good to see that some kids still have ambition and great ethics. Good job on the parenting.

Not too many kids these days have that kind of work ethic, you should be proud.

Those are nice little cars too, I was just looking at them this past weekend for my wife.

Good to hear man! Trust me, it always works out best when you don't just simply hand things to your kids... My parent's are very conservative and old-school and never gave a damn thing to me.. I graduated valedictorean, went to school on a full-ride, and i think things have turned out pretty well... It will only benefit her in the long run!!

When I read the title and saw the picture I was thinking to myself "Great! Another kid gets a car with out working for it". Now after reading that she worked and is paying for it herself. "Thats one of the coolest and hardest working kids I know!" Heck my newest car had 5k on the clock when I got it so she has me beat!
