    Forged Piston have enough meat?

As the title says. Will I be able to remove enough material from the stock pistons to make the victor Jr. 2.05 and the 560 intake lift cam work? I have heard 2 opinions already one says yes another says no. Do I have to stay with the .080 clearance on the PTV.

What do you think is the best way to check PTV clearance? I was planning on doing the lighter springs and feeler gauges does this sound like a plan? Can I do this without using a head gasket and just add the thickness of the headgasket?

Thanks for your help in advance.

0.080 is the minimum, i like to see 0.100 for race application, and i have notched stock pistons for 2.02 valves but never 2.05.... The best way to check ptv is get some silly putty or play dough, clean the piston tops ( you want it to stick here), put some light grease or oil on the bottom of the valves, bolt down (no torque, with gasket) head, install proper pushrod and rocker, then adjust the rocker to your spec, then just turn the engine over 2 turns then take it apart and measure your silly putty, be sure and check the whole thing not just one spot as the valve may be canted slightly diff in the victor heads over the stock heads, but i know we had to notch the stock 87-92 pistons for 2.02 valves...
2015 A6 Mustang GT that so far has gone 9.48@147 but still the fastest prochargerd S550 in the world aside from Tim Essick's!
