Anyone ever get an Earl Scheib Paint Job

My DD is really suffering and I want to keep it around for at least 3 more years to teach my son to drive with. Mechanically the car is great, but the paint is badly delaminated. If you, or someone you know, has feedback on Earl Scheib, please let me know. Thanks.

My first car had an Earl on it. They had a shop in Mckeesport at the time. I did all the body/prep work before I took it down there. I removed EVERYTHING that couldn't get me a ticket. At the time the top "job" cost $365 for a wine/red color. It looked like the paint was really thinned, it was orange peel free but some of the original color barely shown through (which was gold so looked really nice). For a 17 yo. I was happy and actually received alot of positive remarks on the paint. A friend worked at an Earl across the river from the "Rocks". I checked out some of theirs and was NOT impressed. Major orange peel (they don't, as far as I know, wetsand) and their bodywork was poor. It really depends on their painters skills. You can do an awesome job on a budget.

you really cant compalain for the price... at least its baked on, any time the paint is baked it has a better life span.
