    I was in Chicago with the girlfriend over the weekend and decided to pop "the question".... to my suprise and joy, she said yes! No date has been set, we'll probably elope anyways

    congrats.... that is great, I however would recommend premarital counceling.... This could be the one and only thing that really prepairs you for what marrage really is.. And it is better IMO to get it done at a church by a pastor...good luck
