    Wheel Polishing

Does Anyone Have An Idea Or Two About What To Use On A Set Of Torque Thrust Wheels. They Are Only A Year Old And They Have Alot Of White Spots On Them. I Was Able To Get Alot Of Them Off Of One Wheel Today But Just Wanted Know If There Is Anything Good To Use On Them. I Used Nevr Dull To Clean Them Up Then Used Mothers Power Ball And Power Ball Polish But Still Has Whites Spots. Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated.

    Thanks Paul

They might need some sand paper to get rid of the pits. Nothing less than 2000 grit though!!!!!

There Is Not "pits" There Is Just Spots Kinda Looks Like Corrosion. These Wheels Are Too New To Use Any Sandpaper On Them. They Are Cleared I Believe. I've Done The Wet Sanding On Older Wheels And It Works Well. I Just Don't Want To Do Anything To Harm Or Scratch Them.

The sandpaper I suggested is finer than notebook paper. If you rub polish on them, does the rag turn black?

i definitely know you can get up at Z&M lol, im not too sure of where else to get it, it pulls everything out of what your polishing and if you keep at it you can get it to the point that the aluminum looks like chrome.

on second thought i think its called busch, sorry....i could get you a bottle but how would i get it to you?

Best thing (so i have heard) is stuff called "Wheel Wax". Check out the link. I got 3-4 small jars, just have yet to try it. I'll be waxing the new chrome ponies before they go on the car for sure.

Advance Auto used to carry this stuff, but has since discontinued selling it. I had all 3 jars I could find from all the stores transferred to the Carnegie store and bought them at an 80% discounted price.
