    getting closer--car build pics

Thought I'd show a few pics, planning on testing it out at NMRA Milan.
    Cage and suspension are done.
Here is the turbo system all but finished:

Still will look like this when finished:

I'll be selling a set of Bogarts with fronts to clear the Cobra brakes if anyone is interested (I'll start a new thread later).

    Very nice.....

how is the turbo supported? With a bracket off the engine, or just by the exhaust?

Damn that is sick! I really like the clever placement of the intercooler and the stealth outward appearance of the car.

Who did the roll cage and back half of the car?

OT: Is that your red SN95 in the background too?

    Thanks for the comments guys.
All the pics above are Dave's fine work at Team Z Motorsports (teamzmotorsports.net).
    Here's the details:
    427" 9:1 FRPP block/Bennett Vic Jrs/Vic EFI/FTI hydro roller (520/505 NA engine dyno break-in carb'd, no tuning)
    Precision 88mm T6 1.08 a/r, 1 3/4" custom above, 3" cross-over, 5"-4" DP, 1000+hp A-A cooler
TKO 600 (MMR 900 spec'd to 900tq), Spec 3+, Strange 9", Al carrier, 3.50 35 spline D-locker, FAST XFI (tuned by Lidio at Alternative Auto), 96# inj, Magnafuel pump, Glenn's sleeper tank.
Dave's stuff from TeamZ: 10-pt cage, floor SFC, mini-tubs, rear susp. w/ ARB, tubular front, Strange shocks/struts.
Any questions or comments fire away.
I want this to be a True Street style car with the goal to be able to cruise to tracks about an hour away and still run bottom 10s @ 140-150mph. Solid 9s in True Street form/tune is the goal.
    I'd like to see 800rwhp @ about 10psi.
Dave has been awesome to work with and its nice to think this long project will be finished to run this year.

    To answer the questions:
-will run in True Street at NMRA/FFW (definitely at the Milan, Norwalk, Columbus events) and maybe some flashlight drags
-turbo is mounted with a support to the passenger frame-rail or engine (I can't remember, only seen it in person once). The trick billet JGS (?)wastegate is seen between the turbo and head)
-intercooler is mounted to be able to fit the largest size in the LX bumber and still give flow to the custom radiator that is being ordered.
-not my SN-95, it belongs to the guy doing the wiring and is getting 25.5 legal
-YES, I know it needs an auto , but we'll see what breaks first with the stick
I'm pretty open about the combo and the details so if you want to anything just ask.

Nice to see I'm not the only one that likes to vaporize large sums of money into a Fox Body. That thing should run like it's pissed off at the world!

    One real question:
How can I get this thing state inspected?
It should be legal and will get less than the minimum miles (5k?) to miss emissions, but I'd love to hear advice on that.

Dave does some nice work. I can't wait to get my car finished. Dave did the cage, through the floor frame connectors, front and rear suspension. It looks awesome. Good Luck to you

If you can get that power to the ground you'll be right up there with the quickest of them at the FLDs. Traction is always my problem there, even with MTs and an easy launch - and I'm not close to the same league that your car will be in.

Car looks great! Love a clean fox. The stance is killer!
