    J,

Car looks great. You have to be going crazy waiting to pick it up! Have a safe trip and post more pics ( and a video would be nice...hint hint...) when you can.

It's good to see that the duct tape holding the piping together in the first set of pics was replaced with beautiful welds.

That thing looks evil. 427ci + Turbo = FTW !!!

I'll post the sheet in the next few days Ron, it was a LONG week but it ran right.
    It made 555/532...........................
    .
    .
    .
on less than 4 psi :)
Have a few small things to fix and then put a 15# spring in it.
Going to try and make NMRA Milan with just the low boost tune then turn it up for FFW Norwalk.

Here's the dyno on just 3.7# boost:

The math says 4# should be 559rwhp so its close. When I get the boost turned up to 15# I'm hoping for the 850+ range at the tires
I didn't get any great pictures but here's a couple:

The car went back to TeamZ to take care of a few small things and I'm planning on making some passes at NMRA Milan even with the 4# tune just to work out the bugs.

Thanks man, it was just sweet to hear it run.
Might be better to just like with just low boost for now.
My brother ran 10.70s and might be in the .50s now so it should be a fun run each him.

Very nice man... my car made just over 700/700 with 13.5 lbs of boost on 348" and a rediculously conservative tune (probably too conservative with both fuel and timing)... So you're goals are more than reasonable on 427" ...

I can't see the pics, but it sounds badass!

Just a quick update on J's car.

    clipped from hardcore5.0

"Just wanted to give an update......now making 23psi!!!
I left it with the tuner (Lidio / Alternative Auto) and he found the blow-off valve was bleeding off boost. We had tested it before but obviously not well enough.
Anyway, with the blow-off capped for a trial, it went right to 23psi and he got out of it.
After he plays with the blow-off and wastegate springs hopefully I'll have some good results tuned for 15-20psi. I'm pumped.
Also, the last pass of the summer was 11.20@130 and had a miss. When I took the headers off to wrapped them I found a melted #5 plug wire...it should run better on 8 cylinders and more boost :)
    -J
edit: 700rwhp @ 10psi so far on 110 race gas.
It was breaking up above 5500rpm when he tried 12# so it needs some troubleshooting."

Sounds like a wild ride when he gets it sorted out & it should exceed his goal of 850 rwhp...

does that intercooler get enough flow? shouldnt be to bad at 10 pounds but 23 psi you might have to worry bout heat soak.

I really never plan to make 23psi with the car like it is now, mainly because of the stick. I'm guessing the 15psi range will be plenty .

It should be legal and will get less than the minimum miles (5k?) to miss emissions, but I'd love to hear advice on that.

Not really. If your inspection station doesn't do a visual inspection and it has less than 5k miles per last emissions, it will be exempt no problem.
I tore EVERYTHING off of mine (went carbed) had less than 5K since it was titled (minimum 1 year in my name), no emissions necessary, my guy doesn't look for CATS nor cares really, if its exempt. Easy.
