Colin,
Have you spoke to this guy about this car? I am interested in the car too but....
Thanks Hank
Hank
This is the info on this car. Very interesting to say the least. It is great to see 5.0's holding a value. This car is very rare. And remember it is 18 years old. Its kinda funny in a way to see everyone think this guy is crazy. I spoke with him this evening and he is very aware of what he has. Also if you google 7 up mustang there is a laundry list of information.

I know what it is, but seeing as it needs a windshield, new top and seats I don't see paying 5k on it.
Prime example of a vehicle that's worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it...or as much as the seller is willing to take for it! Looks to me that it should be at the low end of the Nada guide. apples to apples...$13k is waaaay too much
I hear ya on the offer. I didn't make him one. But he seems to be an okay guy. And the price he is asking for the car is at the low end of the NADA scale. (just in case someone hasn't read the Craigslist properly)
But it seems like a decent deal if someone is looking for a mustang that will hold value. I love the color combo. But I have to much going on with the car build I have going on now. He did also say it was a Virginia car. So no shitty PA rust.
Hank
it has nothing to do with misreading anything. I've seen them on other sites in better condition at 5k or less. As for the rareness, pa happens to have the greatest number of them in the united states and canada. if you like it make him an offer. but there is no need to put sly remarks in the thread. just because I wouldn't pay that much for it doesn't mean some else wouldn't. everyone has their opinion.
:whocares:
cracked windsheild,trashed interior,needs new top,100k miles at 5k (7up or not)...![]()

Exactly! Same deal with my Capri, 1 of 1321 built, but who is going to pay for it? Rare or sepcial does not equal expensive, and the condition of this car takes it out of those ranges in my opinion. I do know of three guys looking for 7-up interior parts, so check them over well, they are rare parts, and not easily found (I think its the rear quarter interior trim panels?)
By the way, the car behind the boss 302 in this picture is a less than 10 mile (YES 10) mile 7-up vert. Never dealer preppes or anything. That one might be at the high end of the value scale ;) (and the white cobra behind it is the same type of story)

that boss looks good bob! where is that?
and I would agree about the 7up in that case, but if it was any fox with that low of miles in that condition it should bring more.
clark I have no intention of starting a fight. I just don't like when people act like their opinion is fact. I know all about the 7up as I think I even started a thread in the past about them. But to me they aren't worth it. They were only a special color combo and only available in a lx. obviously rob agrees with me. lol.
