This flowchart is really old. I should know! I recall getting this sent to me, handdrawn on notebook paper late in 1983, coming from some friends who were working at Nationwide Insurance in Columbus OH. I'd love to know who is credited as the original author. I think I still have my redrawn copy from 1984 somewhere...

FWIW I was "told" that the original author was a 7 fingered, 8 toed COBOL programmer with hairless legs (Navy accident). I think the guy's name is/was Rodney.
