    Getting ready for opening day

I haven't done anything to the car since the SLP cat back and the K&N CAI 2 years ago. Well I wanted some better 60' times so here is round 2
    1, 315-35-17 Hoosier DR's
2, Maximum Motorsports 1/2 wheel spacers and 3" ARP wheel studs (for clearance of the Hoosiers)
    3, sub frame connectors
4, strut tower brace (not sure if I can bring myself to drill holes in the strut towers or not)

My buddy Rob runs those Hoosier DR's. They hook really nice for him, but his car is an auto. He does hit it pretty hard, and they seem to always hook. Good 60' times too. They really hooked well once he got the grooves burned off them :D Unfotunately, the track started t ogive him grief about running them in trophy (need dot tires). Seems like you can run them down to nothing where ET Streets / QTP's are done before the lines are worn off them.

You just have to do it Greg and try not to think about it. I put my strut tower brace on my car last year. It looks cool and made a world of difference. I painted mine white of course to match my car. Good luck

Got it, I have the flu and all you would get done hearing me cough lol. I had the drill out in the garage twice and put it away twice... It's like giving your kids shots, I'd rather give it to someone and come back when it's done.

I usealy make my own sub frame connectors and strut tower braces (I was a little leary of tack welding under the hood) and that dam Lou talked me into the strut tower brace. I'll give you a call if/when I can bring myself to do it.

I took the Hoosiers for a drive tonight, they pick up every rock, stone and dead animal on the road I'm sure they will hook nicely at the track.

Everyone makes fun of me.... but put some mud flaps on with some binder clips. That way you can prevent stone chips and rubber from getting stuck on the quarter panel.

The subframes stiffened things up a good bit. I got attacked by my air drill at work today (almost went for stiches) I'm going to pass on any drilling for a while.
