should i go with black powdercoated 10 holes or the silver 10 holes?
not sure how the black look with the reef blue?

what did the po po package have originally?
2019 Colorado ZR2
87-90's had black finish
91-93 switched to machined finish.
my feeling is no one knows what the hell it is unless the black wheels are on, but i am undecided if the black wheel on reef blue is queer or not.

Not a fan of the black 10 holes on there, but love the machined ones. You are probably right though, nobody will recognize what it is without the black ones. (unless you add a light bar and decals ;) )

is say black, think it looks cool like a cop car.

i like em both but in different ways. black does look menacing like a cop but i'm weary of the police. weren't actual cop rims steelies tho? imo, can't go wrong with a nice polished oe rim. btw, i have a set of these i don't need anymore...
i like black, but not on the reef blue. I'd say stick with the silvers

Given the two options, I like the black better but IMO why limit yourself to 10 holes? You're potentially looking to steer from the norm as 91-93 were machined and you're potentially changing to black 10 holes. Throw something else on there that would look better than ANY 10 hole
my 2cents
this is a ssp mustang aka police interceptor model.
it was an unmarked used by the florida highway patrol. has the lights, radio and radar in it. all correct stuff. it is being restored to look as in service. there are not too many of these around. its a very rare car, and while having crap paint looks like new underneath.
it had the silver wheels on it when in service, but the black was an earlier option on these. either way its keeping 10 holes.
I understand and agree with you completely. It's not like your tinting the windows or putting a cowl hood on it. You could easily throw just about any wheel on the car if you'd like. There are alot of options out ther eincluding 17" steelies and beauty rings...lol
Nice CR coupe
If it was a black car or white car I would go with black but it being reef blue go the silver ones
IMO, it looks better with the black ones. I would leave the correct ones on there though. The 1st show you go to someone will lecture you that you have the wrong wheels on there.

don't think anyone knows enough about them to realize the silvers are 91-93 correct.
usually when someone sees the black ten holes, thats the give away that its an ex police mustang. i have a set of each so not sure which i'll leave one!
my big concern is how they look with the blue color. now my other one that is a black one the black wheels will look sweet on that one.
throw draglites on it.. haha then they will def stop if your behind them haha
