    I need suggestions.

I was cleaning out my IAC valve just a little bit ago and when putting it back on i guess i over tightened the top bolt a little too much and it snapped off inside.....theres just a tiny sliver of metal sticking out, not even enough to grab with pliers, luckily the bottom bolt made it tight enough that it feels pretty solid and doesnt wobble around....but any ideas how i can get that bolt out? and when i do can i get those bolts from ford?

thats a pretty small bolt but you should be able to get it out with an ez out and some heat. as far as replacing the bolt, just spec it out and get a new one from the hardware store, ford hardware is very expensive. good luck!

I might also try a left handed drill bit. Center punch the broken piece and as it drills it "bites" in and unsrews the broken piece out. Had one save my hide on monday putting a Nissan DOHC motor back together..

If the bolt is the same as the fox IAC, I have a pile of those here if you need one.
