    What kind of aftermarket shifter?

ok..just called the insurance company and im going to bring the mustang back out in the next wk or so. They quoted me $242.44 for 6months. will definitely pay to bring it out instead of fueling up the f-150!!! Anyhow, what kind of aftermarket shifter does everyone prefer. Im not doing any drag racing or ne thing...maybe a few times later this summer but not what everyone else does....mines good on gas n weak on power! I was thinking bout going with a steeda tri-ax shifter but ive heard good things for pro 5.0 too. lets hear what everyone else prefers!

I currently own and use both the Pro 5.0 and a Tri-Ax you will not be disappointed with either.

Foxes are found throughout most of the world and hunt alone, mainly at night, relying on cunning and an acute sense of power and acceleration. They feed on mostly small rodents like rats(BBC) , mice (SBC) and snakes(Cobras).

MGW makes a pretty sick shifter. I have heard many good things about it. I currently run a pro 5.0 on my tremec 3550. Its extremely short and tight.

I've had the B&M ripper and Tri-ax. Any aftermarket shifter from a known-brand-name company will probably feel 1000% better than stock and real close to the same to each other. I think I preferred the B&M only because the stick was solid all the way from top to bottom. The other brands are nice with teh adjustable handles, but if you're an anal freak, you'll always think the bolts are coming lose (and in some cases they do!)

I say go to ebay and find the cheapest brand name shifter for your tranny.

Even though it is a little more than the brands I don't see how shifting can be any more of a pleasure.
