    Its Done, New Combo Update

As could be seen from my sig ive been putting together a new combo over the winter. Took some time for planning and figuring out all what had to be done. I also addressed all problems from the past year including:

    Problem-lifting heads
    Solution- ARP head studs

    Problem-blowing fan fuses
    Solution-70 amp relay

    Problem-converter failing to lock up
Solution-sent back to edge for rebuild

    The new combo details:

Swapped stock e7 heads for GT-40 irons (ported by Timmy :))
Swapped stock cam for Anderson B-21 cam
    Switched to 1.7 RR
Converted to 75mm Fox TB setup
Changed stall from 3200 to 3800 RPMs

Made about 450 RWHP last year This year enter guess here
Best ET last year 11.29 This year enter guess here

I will have some updated photos before friday
I will have dyno results friday. SGS appointment at 1 PM
    Wish me luck.

my guess dyno won't show a big improvment, because of the looser converter, but the time slip will .

I agree but should show a much stonger torque curve.

Sounds good Billy. What made you stick with an iron GT40 head though?

Money was a big issue. Also didnt want to put a nice aluminum head on there only to grenade the motor and ruin them.

Technically i can still say its a stock cobra motor with a lil cam in there.

That thing is going to be stout. Nice work! It's cool seeing all these 94/95 models having work done to them. Good Luck with the dyno time.

Had to modify the fox vortech discharge tube and find some bolts and such but other than that worked fine. Much cleaner, much more room. I would suggest this conversion to any 94/95 owner.

How did Mike end up cutting that discharge tube? A bandsaw, hacksaw, or what? Throw up some pics man, but first wash that damn engine bay!
    Mike does great work, huh?
BTW, I'll be dropping your race fuel off about 12:45-1:00 today @ WolfPack so you can come get it any time after that.
I can't wait to see your new # on Friday!
Did you see my guess above?
