side exit borlas

I just picked up a set of side exit 2-1/4" stainless borlas and poly side exit skirts for a 94-98 , my question is has anybody ever heard of or seen a 99-04 with theses adapted to fit and how did it look? I paid $200 for every thing from the cats to the tips and the skirts . I want to put these on my 01 but I almost hate like hell to mod them any thoughts?

I wouldn't modify them. Honestly, I think you could flip them for a profit right now if they are decent and have the tips. If you hack them up and they don't work then you'll have wasted a good set. Does anyone sell side exhaust skirts for the 99-04 cars? If so it probably wouldn't be hard to adopt the exhaust parts to work.

i have installed the exhaust of 99-04 cars, but i have never seen the side skirts on em, and they sound about the same...

yeah they are almost perfect there is a one inch crack on the passenger side underneath the front edge but it is an easy repair. the pipes and tips are perfect, I dont know what to do I want something different than every one else.
