carbed 393, I have the cash for the rear end n block, just saving up for the rest right now, hoping to have at least the bottom end built by winter, then maybe if I'm lucky have it installed by next summer

Carbed??? Please say it isn't so... That car is too nice to mess it up and stick a carb under the hood. My biggest turnoff on late model cars is when I look under the hood and see a carb setup, I feel like they were either too cheap, or too dumb to do it right and stick with FI.

+1, anytime I see a late model car with a carb in it, my thoughts are always "meh."

Ive just always loved how clean the engine bay looks with a nicely done carb setup, it would be something different that you dont see all that often, not to mention the power you can make with the carbed windsor engines

you can get them to look just as clean, just need to take the extra(lots of it) time and it can be done

I'm not a big fan of popping the hood of a car that should be FI and it's carbed either, but then again I'm sure ive done some things to my car that people would't do as well. Do what make you happy Mike..

I want more power out of the car, and I cant afford to have it tuned everytime I do something to it, plus fi is way more expensive to build, and intake for carbed is 200-300 bucks, fi is 500-600, plus injectors, and a ton of other stuff

because it still doesnt help the fact that I'll have to buy injectors computer wiring harness, tuned constantly etc, the price of fuel injected is just insane compared to carbed

Whats wrong with the harness you have now?

Tuned constantly? I get mine done once a year IF and only if i make changes.

Youll be constantly jetting and screwing with a carb. Either way your going to have to buy an intake and you can get a nice set of used injectors for the price of or cheaper than a good used carb.

I guess im just not a fan of carbs.
