    Finally "tuned" the 06 GT....

So I installed the performance tune from the Superchips flashpaq today. . . . Holy sh!t what a difference it makes!!!! Supposedly adds 25+HP to the rear tires...feels like a very healthy 25 extra HP made it to the tires. Anyone on here that has an S197 stang and doesn't have a tuner NEEDS to get one! Tires chirp into 3rd gear and the throttle response makes the car feel as though it has a different motor (in a good way).
I can't seem to get rid of the grin on my face!!!!! Now I just need to get the 4.10's and suspension installed and she's done

P.S. Mike at Wolfpack told me awhile back to buy a tuner to "wake up" the car....Mike was RIGHT

Well, I think I'm going to make the 06 97 RWHP add a huge wing, Folgers muffler tip and maybe some gold Daytons to it. Then I'll fit in for sure!

Hey Scott, wanny swap me the 2.3L for the 4.6 out of it?

good deal, Neil. if the tuner "feels" like 25hp, wait till you get those gears. it'll feel like 50hp.

I would consider 4.30 gears if I were you. These cars love the gear. I could tell the difference big time between the 4.30's and the 4.56's I had in the car. These cars also have a 27" tall tire compared to a 26" on the older cars which will also cut the gear down.

A tuner is a must for the S197 cars, we have done quite a few now and the customers love the difference...but of course a custom tune via a reputable tuner would be even better! What till those 4.10's go in Neil, you will really be off your rocker then!!!
