    Starting the clean up

Well started takeing off those pesking weight adding things today. Got the A/C off and smog pump off. That cleaned up the bay a bit. First time I really tore into a 5.0 car that lil mass air meter made me laugh. It needs a good bath under there except no headers on yet so I didnt want any water getting in there. Still deciding how far I want to go with this stock motor. Looks like original plugs and wires on it. Kinda of leary of all those old gaskets anyhow. Figure I'll replace the water pump to be safe as well looks kinda nasty. Will be putting a 4" cowl hood on it tomorrow. that will keep the ambition going lol. I'll get some pics up as I go along.(have to buy the hook up and software for my phone to dl pic's)

Was gonna put in 4.10's and run possibly the f303 cam. I looked into the Anderson ones like tim said to but why spend that kind of money now and then again when I get a custom one in the new motor. Though I thank Tim for his advice. Woody will be doing my next powerplant. Did get a deal on a 75 mm tb just need to get a spacer for it. Have to buy a mass airflow sensor for it as well.

yea thats cool... thats what was in mine (f303 cam). im not partial to 410's, make the car wind out too fast for a summer d/d thats why i went with 373

plus the price of gas..wow you prolly gonna be seeing a gas station more with 410's
