I know its not a mustang question but I need some opinions. My ranger is pinging pretty bad under all different kinds of acceleration.
The full filter, air filter, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil and distributor have all been recently changed.
I checked the timing and its within spec: 10* BTDC.
I run 87 in because thats what it takes. I don't want to run anything higher then that and I don't want to retard it anymore. So why's it still pinging? Or is it something else?
