Active Speed Traps On Rt.22

For those of us that haven't been through Monroeville lately, MPD is cracking down on speeders big time. It is mainly in the area of Sam's Club / Expo Mart. The sensor is just past Monroeville Dodge in the middle of the road. Refer to the link below to see what the device looks like.

If you get pinched in this area get ready to bend over and take it in the rear.....There are construction signs all over the place due to the ongoing road work in Wilkins Twp so that little area in monroeville is considered the beginning of the construction zone when you get off the bridge, aka doubled fines. Be careful

i saw that yesterday on my way through town.... I saw the cop, and up ahead was the speed trap, and i was definitely going more than the speed limit, but so were the 10 cars ahead and behind me, since i was in traffic....

There is also one on northern pike between 48 & 22, the stretch that begins by 286 that comes up the hill and ends by the mcdonalds and kings right at 48, been seeing them there alot in the morning.

Even greensburg has been cracking down. They have had traps set up along 819 all the time lately. The other day was a cop sitting in what looked like his personal vehicle (black acura) than an 1/8 mile up the road theres a marked cop sitting in a driveway. They must have nailed atleast 20 people that day. I'd watch pretty much anywhere around here.
