Game 1 - Rangers/Pens

Unbelievable... I was very nervous about this series and felt game 1 would be the most important in the series.

Yea it was definitely a sloppy game, but very exciting... Ray and I were biting our nails the entire game!!!! I was yelling at my Ray and my g/f that there was to be no non-game talk during game play!!! LOL

I was just on espn.com and you can't believe the rangers fans... i dont have an account so i can't post, nor do i really want to, but all week the rangers fans have been sore loosers even before the series started.... now they just bitch non-stop about this and that and cheap goals and so on...... Yes, the pens got some lucky bounces, but come on.... the goal on the high stick that was upheld was just rediculous to me... and what do you call the one off of Gonchar's skate..... so we traded that one for the one by Ruutu.... LOL... people make me sick sometimes

haha sounds like me! it does get a bit annoying when you are trying to watch the game and really take it in and people are talking about their shoes, work, having to get a new roof etc etc...

and as far as rangers fans go, f'em...good teams get breaks and bounces. it has always been that way! and nothing ticks me off more than when people cry about things that happen during a game, but fail to raconize the breaks and bounces that their team get...just remember there is no I in team, but there are three U's in Ruutu...

The Pens showed a lot of guts tonight coming back from the 3-0 deficit. You don't normally see that in the playoffs, even though I think we squandered a 3-0 lead against Ottawa. The Ranger fans should stop whining - that high stick goal that was upheld was a joke.

Now the Pens are warmed up again after their lengthy layoff. They were sloppy early tonight, but I think you'll see a more focused and intense group in game 2. We really need to win on Sunday, because I think the Rangers handled us pretty well on their home ice this year.

I was playing poker during the game & I forgot to check if Gary Roberts played. Did he? And if he did - how did he look?

that was a very sloppy game the first period and begining of the second but it seemed like the same team that had more than a 2 day layoff and then played. a little rusty until they get it goin.
i dont know why roberts is still out. i havent really heard anything but i didnt think it was that bad of a groin injury. i thought hed be back by now.
