V6 FTW! I got a sixer puttin down 300 to the wheels... so piss on the ws6 thats 320 to the crank. anybody can go buy a v8 and put bolt ons on. (no offense to other v8 mustangs I love them. Not tryin to add to the fire, but alot of guys know me and what i drive, and i Beat people up about there G.M.s, Hondas, Dodges, and whatever they drive thats not a MUSTANG!!!!! All out of FUN. Thats it! I myself grew up on Mopars, My Dad took me to shows with his ride 77 Aspen rt Super pak option, black with red and orange stripes, 360, 727 torqueflite with super low miles, he bought me a 1973 Cuda when i was 10, it was my baby, But time, cost factors, and beating the shit out of what i had, and seeing what broke and what held up, the Mustang got my vote and i was hooked ever since! Not saying they dont break, everything has its weak spot and outta the i think the count is up to 89 or 90 fox bodys i have owned since i was 18, now 29, i can say they never, ever let me down, except for one about two weeks ago, tranny failure But im a easy to get along with person, i try to treat everyone with respect, as long as there not talkin shit on me! my take on this is, everyone has diffrent tastes, and it doesnt matter what car you have, someone is ALWAYS faster. i mean for as much money as i put into my stang i could have a fully built, turbo charged civic making some hefty numbers, or a stg3 srt-4 with .50 trim turbo etc etc. you should like your ride for what it is not what it can do or what kinda power it makes. sure i want a cobra but i could never afford one, i had a v6 an then i got a gt and i fixed it up the way i like it,and i can proudly say its my car an i have beaten a cobra but im not going to go around an say ha i beat a cobra i will beat you, thats not how i am. there will always be someone out there who is a dick, for example: i went to subway and a couple people said nice stang etc etc i said thanks, well some dick said yea its nice but its only a 4.6. now thats just downright stupid and the kid has no idea about cars etc etc because i know v6s who put down some sick numbers.
i have met people from this site who were cool as hell, i have met people who own mustangs not from this site and try to tell me that for some odd reason there mustang makes more stock then i ever knew. i had people tell me there 05 gt made 360 stock and he paid 47k for it (it was the basic ass gt model) lol, i have another guy with an 01 gt tell me that his car makes 300 stock. and like someone said b4 the v6's are for people who dont want there kids dying or have them behind a v8, v6's are cheaper on gas, and they are cheaper all together i dunno if anyone agrees with me or if anyone feels the same way but thats my rant.

I think you can run into a lot of dickhead peeps on either side of the equation... Its true, i run into a lot of mustang owners that thing their weak little GT is the shit.... But yet, i am friends with more mustang owners than f-body owners, so i don't really take it personally...

And then again, i run into a lot of douche f-body owners... I ran into one who asked me about my car and then said about his, "it runs 13.6's with just and exhaust" like i was supposed to be impressed or something... I was like " uhhhh yea, that's respectable" even though that's horribly slow.... but what do i say to that? I will really only rag on people i know, and these are the people i know won't take offense to it and will know i'm only kiddin around....

Also, and i havent really put a lot of thought into this, or come up with any examples, but it seems to me that it might make sense... the peeps out there that are total douches, whether or not they drive mustang, camaro, or import, are the people that build up their cars to impress or prove something to someone else...
I built my car to make me happy, not so i could brag to all of my friends that my car is faster than theirs.... If peeps ask me about my car, i'll tell them all they wanna know, but otherwise, i don't really even bring it up... i've got no one to impress and nothing to prove...
